Made Systems (Asia) Pte Ltd, or TMS.asia for short, is the Regional
Head Office and Support Centre for Asia for the Australian Sydney-based
software developer, TMS
Tailor Made Systems Pty Ltd.
The
wholly owned subsidiary was set up to develop further the TMS
presence in Asia and to provide better support to the existing
client base of our business software solutions which have been
in use by clients in Asia since 1990.
TMS.asia
market, implement and support BOOKMASTER and POWERMASTER business
software solutions ourselves and through distributors, where applicable.
Both
BOOKMASTER and POWERMASTER are ERP software solutions aimed at
industries which we have strong expertise. Hence our name, Tailor
Made Systems that provide solutions tailor made for the industry
segment we operate in.
BOOKMASTER
is an ERP solution for the publishing and book distribution industry
while POWERMASTER is aimed at the consumer product distribution
industry, e.g., consumer electronic goods. Besides industry specific
modules, both include e-commerce, business intelligence and customer
relationship management modules as well.
TMS.asia have a team of technical support personnel, some of which
have been using and supporting our solutions since 1990.
Since June 2000, TMS.asia have a Bangkok office to strengthen
our presence in Thailand.

TMS
is a provider of comprehensive integrated ERP and associated solutions
to the distribution, book and consumer electronics industries.
The engine that drives all these solutions is the TMS ERP, a highly
functional and stable business-rule driven distribution and financial
ERP.
Other TMS solutions, including Warehouse Management, Business Intelligence,
e-Commerce and the forthcoming Customer Relationship Management
are fully integrated with the core ERP engine.
For book publishers and publishers, a suite of industry-specific
modules such as Returns Management, Subscription Management, Royalty
Control, Book Production, Academic Sales and Direct Mail is also
integrated with the core ERP to provide a book industry specific

Similarly,
modules designed for consumer electronics distributors, including
Warranty & Service, Pricing Simulation, Purchase Sales & Inventory
and Rebates combine with the core ERP to provide a consumer electronics
industry specific ERP, Powermaster.

specialised modules are not mutually exclusive; for instance, consumer
electronics distributors can use Subscriptions or Royalties, and
book publishers can use Rebates or Purchase Sales and Inventory.
This means Powermaster is ideally suited for general distributors,
especially those wanting integrated Warehouse Management, e-Commerce
and Business Intelligence, while consumer electronics distributors
can use all these facilities plus the additional integrated modules
specific to their requirements.
Similarly, book publishers and distributors can enjoy all the benefits
of the Bookmaster distribution, financial and other modules as well
as their own industry-specific modules.

Bookmaster
is a software package for publishers and book distributors built
around a hig hly
functional and robust book distribution system that also handles
non-book products such as CDs, videos and promotional material.
It caters for the requirements of Trade, Academic, Niche and Subscription-based
publishers and distributors. Bookmaster provides industry-specific
features such as returns management, substitute ISBNs, title restrictions,
new title release, dealing with buying groups and selling directly
to academic institutions, and also includes integrated modules developed

Distribution and Financial system highlights
Powermaster contains the many sophisticated features you would expect
in an industrial-strength Distribution and Financial system used
by major multi-national corporations around the world. It includes
a full Returns Management system and a flexible multi-currency Import
Costing and Shipping function. The sophisticated multi-warehouse,
multi-location Warehouse Management System supports barcoding, scanning,
and multiple picking methods such as zone, wave and order picking.
It also provides full paperless warehouse operations using RF terminals.
Powermaster uses a Bill of Materials to handle multiple types of
physical and logical packs and accurately calculates sales tax and
sales analysis for packs and systems.
Sales Decision Support incorporates well over 100 on-line inquires
with multiple options, all available within seconds. Accounts Receivable
contains a Claims Tracking system and a Telecollections system which
can dramatically reduce days outstanding. Multiple Order Entry formats
ensure speed and accuracy of data entry, and Powermaster's powerful
order tracking facilities will help you provide world class customer
