The International Institute of Education, NAVA
Language School and Thai Government School. I am
also presently working with The Thai Royal Navy
English department on a part time basis to evaluate,
advise their students and help prepare them for
study abroad.

I worked for the
department of Defense as a transportation
specialist. My job covered many areas of
logistics, transportation and training of personnel
in every area of transporting U S Marine Corps
Personnel, there related equipment and all supplies
which were required to accomplish their mission. I
trained both civilian drivers and Marines in the
proper handling, loading and transporting related
mission equipment both in a classroom and work area
environment.

I worked with the Onslow County School System, in
Jacksonville, North Carolina, USA. Teaching high
school in the subject area of World History and
English.
There was a reduction (Lay off) in force at MCB Camp
Lejeune, NC, which affected many DOD workers
including myself so; I elected to teach school until
a job with DOD came available again which it did in
late 1993.
Dec 1987 July 1988 Loading Supervisor
During this period
I worked as a loading supervisor for the Southern
California Transportation Company. I was responsible
for Checking shipments and documents for incoming
and out going shipments. I was responsible for
ensuring proper loading of all cargo and that divers
were assigned to transport these loads. I assured
that all documents were correctly filled out and the
loads were with in standards for DOT regulations
with respect to both weight and hazardous materials.

I served as a
Marine in many capacities. The following are just a
few:
1985 1987 S-3
Training Chief.
As a Master
Sergeant I was assigned as the S-3 Training Chief
For First Tank
Bn, Camp Pendleton, Ca. My duties were to ensure
training was conducted through out the Bn
according to Marine Corps order and regulations. I
Instructed classes to both Officers and enlisted
Marines when required. Assign personnel to service
schools, made weekly training schedules for the Bn
and administer physical training test to Marines.
Submitted various required reports to G-3. I also
formulated letters of instruction for my Officer in
charge. Monitored mail and message traffic for my
S-3 office. Supervised many areas of training for
the Bn and requested firing and training ranges for
both the Battalion, Companys and Platoon level for
various tank gunnery, other Marine related weapons
and MOS training areas. I was responsible for
ensuring that annual rifle and pistol requalifcation
was completed by all Marines. I made request to the
S4 to insure ammunitions was on sight for gunnery
training and deploying units. Note: Also during this
time I served as a competitor/Instructor with the
First Marine Div Rifle and Pistol Team in evenings
and on weekends. Retired 31 December 1987.

I was given the
task of training young American men to becoming U S
Marines. This encompassed many hours of continuous
instruction and supervision. I instructed drill,
personal hygiene, weapons, general military
subjects, integrity, physical fitness, marksmanship,
and too many other subject to mention. I strived to
instill motivation, spirit de corps and pride of
Country and Corp in these young men. Also during
this time I served as the NCOIC of the Parris Island
Rifle and Pistol team, instructing and competing in
rifle and pistol matches all over the USA.
July 1978 June 1981 Tank Leader /Battalion Master
Gunner
Dec 1981 - I was
assigned to MCB 29 Palms, California. Serving with
C Company, Third Tank Bn, Third Mar Div as the
Tank Leader. In this assignment I was responsible
for supervising over125 enlisted Marines, to ensure
their personal needs were met and that they were
well trained in their jobs as United State Marine
Corps Tankers. As the Bn Master Gunner, my duties
were to insure that a high state of proficiency was
maintained with respect to tank gunnery within the
Battalion. Note: During one year of this
tour I was a member of the United State
Marine Corps Shooting Team. My assignment there was
as a competitor/instructor
and to
travel to U S
Marine Corps bases around the world, teaching
advanced marksmanship skills to Marines
preparing to shoot in U S Marine Corps competition.
Aug 1976 July 1978 Rifle and Pistol Range NCOIC
Work as the Camp
Hansen Rifle and Pistol ranges as the NCOIC. My
responsibility was to ensure that annual
requalification was conducted accordance with Marine
Corps orders and
regulations. I supervised and instructed
marksmanship classes and requalification of
Marines during live fire. This unit also hosted
Competitive shooting matches to include the Far
Eastern Division Matches
