Senior
Instructor / Customer Trainer
Employed since May 2000 with the Royal Saudi Air
Force (RSAF) Joint Air Operations School (JAOS)
Program. Responsibilities include: courseware
development, classroom instruction, seminar
development and mentorship, and exercise
development and conduct on Joint Operations
Planning and Air Operations Center (AOC)
operations. Participated in the development of 7
new courses for the RSAF JAOS program. These
courses included the Joint Air Operations Course
(JAOC), Joint Combat Airspace Control Course (JCACC),
Joint Air Operations Senior Staff Course (JSSC),
Joint Force Air Component Commander Course (JFACC),
Joint Combat Search and Rescue Coordinators
Course (JCSARCC), Joint Planning Orientation
Course (JPOC), and Aircrew Close Air Support
Course (ACASC). Responsible for training RSAF
officer and enlisted personnel on instructor
functions as well as Joint Operations and AOC
operations analysis. Served as a USAF Instructor
for over 9 years in a variety of positions
including leadership functions in Tactical Air
Control Party (TACP) Training, Battalion Air
Liaison Officer (BALO) Training, and as an ABCCC
Aircrew Instructor. Experience in the U.S. Air
Force included writing training syllabi,
conducting classroom, on-the-job, and simulator
training sessions, utilizing audio/visual
equipment, evaluating the progress of students,
and evaluating fellow instructors.
Operations
Analyst / Process Evaluator
In my current position with the RSAF JAOS
program, I am responsible for student evaluation
and operations analysis during Joint Operations,
AOC, and TACP level exercises. This includes
evaluating students in their functional
positions and analyzing the C2 planning and
battle management operations of the exercise.
Through operational analysis of training and
operations, have assisted in the development of
Saudi Arabian Armed Forces Tactics, Techniques,
and Concepts of Operations for their Joint
Theater Air Ground System. Also have assisted
the in Military Force Structure Analysis and
made recommendations which have been
implemented. Well over 14 years experience in
the U.S. Air Force in operations analysis and
process evaluations. This included evaluating
subordinates both in training and operational
environments. While serving as in the 12th
Air Force (AF) Standardization and Evaluation
(Stan/Eval) Section, was a member of the 12th
AF Inspector General (IG) team. During Operation
Readiness Inspections (ORI) and Staff Assistance
Visits (SAV), was responsible for analyzing and
evaluating the operations of the unit to ensure
compliance with guidelines and milestones. This
also included the conduct of Stan/Eval
evaluations on key members of the unit to ensure
standardization of training and evaluation
programs amongst all 12th AF units.
While an Aircrew Instructor on ABCCC, was
responsible for analyzing the operations of
members of the battle staff, and evaluating the
processes as the airborne extension of the Air
Operations Center (AOC).
Joint Theater Air Ground System Operations
Over 9 years experience planning and executing
in the Joint Theater Air Ground System.
Responsibilities included; providing mission
planning expertise on employment of combat air
resources, supervising and evaluating Tactical
Air Control Party (TACP) operations, and
providing expertise on detailed integration,
coordination, and control of combat air
resources. Also establishing and maintaining
ground-to-ground and ground-to-air
communications nets to provide integrated air
attacks to support Army ground maneuver units.
Certified as a Terminal Attack Controller (TAC)
for 6 years. Responsibilities included; Close
Air Support (CAS) mission planning,
coordination, and control. Served as an aircrew
member of the Airborne Battlefield Command and
Control Center (ABCCC) for 2 years.
Responsibilities included serving as a member of
the airborne Air Operations Center (AOC), being
the sole Close Air Support (CAS) expert on the
battle staff, and coordinating air support
requests in support of Ground Forces.
Participated as a member of the Current
Operations Section, 12th Air
Operations Center (AOC) during numerous
exercises. While working in the AOC and ABCCC,
gained a working knowledge of Operating Systems
such as ABCCC III, CTAPS, and TBMCS.
Participated in well over 100 Joint training
exercises consisting of both field training
exercises (FTX) and command post exercises (CPX).
Also participated in two USAF Blue Flag
Exercises. Served in Operations Desert Shield,
Desert Storm, and Provide Comfort as a TACP
member, and Operation Deny Flight as a member of
ABCCC.
Computer
Operations / Computer Technician
Computer Operations expert with over 20 years
experience operating, troubleshooting, and
maintaining mainframe, desktop, and laptop
computer systems. Software experience includes;
Windows 3.1, NT, 95, 98, ME, 2000 and XP, MS
Office, WordPerfect, Lotus, Database IV, and
DOS. Also limited experienced in LAN setup and
administration.
Supervision /
Management
Currently serving as a Course Director with the
RSAF JAOS Program. Responsible for instructor
and lesson scheduling, course content, changes
and revisions, and overall daily management of
courses. Also, over 14 years of supervisory and
management experience in the U.S. Air Force in a
variety of challenging environments. Experienced
in work scheduling, counseling techniques, labor
relations, evaluating subordinates, maintaining
personnel and equipment records, writing
performance reports, and total quality
management techniques.
Security
Clearance
Maintained a U.S. SECRET and NATO SECRET
clearance throughout my USAF Career. Currently
have a SECRET clearance due to my position with
the RSAF.
