The Australian International School is a primary and secondary
co-educational school, with pre-school attached and caters for
children from age three to pre-university (Year 12 Higher School
Certificate). Students are from Australia, New Zealand, regional
countries and from forty nations around the world. The programme
offered is broad and rigorous, and includes Asian Social Studies,
Mandarin, Indonesian and English as a second language. AIS is
the first and only full preparatory to year 12 Australian school
offshore, staffed by Australians and teaching the Australian (NSW)
curriculum.
The Australian International School was founded in 1993 and is
now located at Ulu Pandan. The school has spacious air conditioning
classrooms, two air conditioned gymnasiums, a swimming pool, playing
fields, three computer laboratories, four science laboratories,
a theaterette, a music complex and a library.
