ORKIN’S METHOD OF TREATMENT/ CONTROL

White Ants/Subterranean Termites Control
Subterranean termites are those termites nest underground and forage in wood structures. Inspection is very important in the control. Early detection with investigation can reduce the property damages. Soil treatment is used as a pre-treatment before construction. Remedial treatment involves the drilling of holes into the ground at intervals and injecting termicides chemical barriers. Termicidal dust formulation is normally applied as a spot treatment to active trail. Any infestation detected will be treated with termicidal dust and a follow up service will be added a week later to justify the effectiveness of the treatment.

Cockroaches Control
Cockroaches cannot live in human habitations without the provision of food and water. Obviously good sanitation is an important factor in reducing available harborage grounds and depriving them food & water. In cockroaches control process a combination of method will be used depending on the type of surfaces and environment involve. Firstly, thorough inspection is crucial as it determines which species are involved and where the infestations/populations are and therefore identifying what treatment is required. Our services will involve residual spraying using micro-encapsulated pesticides, residual baits and resistance proof cockroaches gel usually placed at cracks and crevices, gully traps, toilets, refuse chutes and manholes. Rodents Control
The most effective way to control rodents is undoubtedly to change the environment, which make it less favorable for them. The control process involves various control methods in order to monitor and also reduce the rodents’ population to an acceptable level. This will be complimented by using baiting stations, dust formulation, liquid formulations and cages at strategic locations along the rodents’ runways, burrows and other suspected areas where entry is possible. Mosquitoes Control
A thorough survey will be conducted for potential breeding sources, such as drains, ground depressions, planter boxes/potted plants etc, and treated with lavarticide spraying. To enhance the effectiveness, abate granules will be sprinkle at prone areas so as to prolong the residual spraying. Further conclude, a thermal fogging with AFX (water/oil) based solution would be release at the surrounding premises to withstand total mosquitoes control. Other factors in the control process include removing all unwanted containers coupled with good basic infrastructure which include good drainage system will eventually help in the control process.
