History
Sam Huat Electric Co was formed in 1979 as a sole proprietorship
with only 3 staff, dealing mainly with trading of electrical cables,
wires, switches, ELCB, plugs and distribution boards and etc.
Our business clients were mainly small electrical contractors.

Huat Cables & Accessories Pte Ltd (1995)
Sam Huat Cables & Accessories Pte Ltd was incorporated in 1995,
with an authorized capital of $1.5 million. Since then, there
is a shift from merely small scale trading business into larger
contract-basis business in the construction and marine industries.
Our staff strength is now more than twenty personnel.
Over
the years, Sam Huat's business has grown steadily. Our product
range became more comprehensive and our customer base has grown
larger as well. Our clientele base has expanded beyond the local
market into Malaysia, Indonesia, Taiwan, Sri Lanka and Mauritius.
Due to our clients' demand for value-added services instead of
trading individual electrical parts and cables/wires, we have
also gone into parts assembly, cables/wires cutting and installation
of cables plugs.
