Building Strong Foundations

As St. Francis Methodist School is a private institution, we are able to exercise some flexibility in the courses we offer, while still keeping in line with the requirements of the respective examining bodies and the Ministry of Education.

We offer the following courses :
   ท Secondary One, Two and Three (Express)
   ท Singapore-Cambridge GCE 'N' Level (with option to prepare for 'O' Level)
   ท Singapore-Cambridge GCE 'O' Level
   ท Singapore-Cambridge GCE 'A' Level
   ท University of London GCE 'O' Level
   ท University of London GCE 'A' Level

Not only do we offer a wide range of courses, which span the Arts, Science and Commerce streams, we have a faculty of highly-qualified academic staff who ensure that the potential of each and every student is maximised.

Our aim is to present our students with a balanced curriculum which offers on top of our academic courses, electives such as Art, Japanese and French; extra-curricular activities like soccer and hockey, as well as music, dance and drama.

Our New Campus Campus 1 of St. Francis Methodist School, comprising the Upper Secondary and Pre-University levels, will shift to spanking new premises at Upper Bukit Timah, Singapore's prime residential and school area, in the middle of the year 2001.

Facilities there will include

   ท a large multipurpose hall
   ท a modern canteen
   ท 4 well appointed Science labs
   ท 2 computer labs with facility for video conferencing
   ท 2 language labs ท a well stocked library
   ท 5 faculty rooms

Plans are underway for another campus. It is intended that Campus 2 will house our Lower Secondary levels. Facilities here will be of a standard that is on par with government schools in Singapore.
