heavy transport specialists, have been in existence since 1993 and we have
already earned an outstanding reputation for quality of performance and service
to the major construction companies operating on Eastern Seaboard of Thailand.
We are regular participants in the handling, movement and transportation of all
heavy and outsize items of equipment for some of the largest constructors of
petrochemical, civil and power generating installations worldwide companies such
as Foster Wheeler, Fluor Daniel, Badgers, JGC, Sankyu-Thai, T.P.I., Lucky
engineering and Daelim.
Our equipment is amongst the
best available in all Asia and we have the capacity for transporting loads up to
1400 tonnes on one set of heavy duty platform trailers with an additional 222
axle lines (global capacity of 4710 tonnes, giving flexibility of trailer
configurations to suit all the requirement of our clients.
Although the majority of our
projects are generated from within Thailand we have the capability to perform
overseas. this is demonstrated by one of our projects in Morocco where we were
involved in a large pipeline. construction program in Casablanca. We had moved
pipe sections of 3 metres inside diameter x 81 meter long, coated with a
concrete sleeve weighing up to 450 tonnes for Bouygues-Offshore Another
electrical generating Project was recently completed in Vietnam.
For refinery project, we have
done heavy transport for the Esso Thailand Sriracha Expansion Project, and some
of our other works are the offloading from a heavy lift Ro-Ro ship and inland
transportation of a 1300 tonnes reactor for Shell's Rayong Refinery Project and
inland transportation of 82 metres long columns x 400 tonnes in weight for the
Star Refinery Project, also in Rayong. We are also currently involved in the Don
Muang Tollway Project in Bangkok where we have transported 5500T - girders,
15-40 metres long and cross-beam weighing 150 tonnes. Themain contractor is
Dywidag GTMI Delta Consortium. For the Second Stage Expressway, we transported U
beams weighing 100 tonnes each for our client Kmagal-Gumi, PY Sogea, Bilfinger
Berger, Kin-Sun-Beazer.
With our modern facilities we
are able to offer a full engineering back-up service using the latest
computerized C.A.D. equipment and techniques. our service, spare parts and
maintenance workshops in Bangkok and Rayong provide excellent and prompt support
services ensuring availability of quality transport equipment at all times. So
whatever your heavy transport problems, B&J have the expertise, the equipment
and the experienced personnel to solve them.
NEW MILESTONE FOR B&J SERVICES
GRAND OPENING OF BAN CHANG BRANCH OFFICE On January 30 th, 1997, B & J Services
was honored by H.E. The French Ambassador to Thailand, Monsieur Gerard Coste and
the Deputy Governor of Rayong Province, jointly presiding in the opening
ceremony of the new Ban Chang Branch Office. The dramatic arrival of the French
Ambassador by helicopter, landing at the vast space between the workshop,
trailers and reception tents, took many guests by surprise. The new branch
office was conceived in 1995 when the previous Mapthaput Office and parking
space for heavy transport equipment had become insufficient for the rapidly
expanding heavy transport business. A piece of suitable land was purchased on
Sukhumvit Road, Route No.3 and construction work was completed by early 1997, in
time to welcome in the new year.
