Membership of the Chambers of Commerce in
Thailand is not an instant passport to success. The reasons to apply to
be a member of a chamber is varied. From wanting to promote one's
company to having a good excuse to go out for a beer. Chamber meetings
were always THE places to see and be seen and to network and exchange
ideas if not only business cards.
Nowadays there are many more
opportunities to network. Also networking happens daily with the ease of
communication on the Internet.
