Thai British Security Printing was
the first printing company in Thailand to produce security printed
products. The Company's principal activity is the manufacture of
security documents such as bank cheques, security documents, business
forms and plastic cards. These products include: Bank Cheques, Security
Documents, Business Forms, Credit Cards, Plastic Cards, Smart cards.
These products are made according to international standards
The first production site is located at Wat Suansom in Samutprakarn
(Plastic Card and Sheet Fed Production). Due to increased demand, a
second site was developed at Bang Poo Industrial Estate in 1996. The
factory is equipped with high speed modern machinery capable of high
quality printing and finishing. The Sales Office is located at CTI
Tower, Ratchadapisek Road in Bangkok.
Bank Checks
26 years of successful production of all types of Checks for banks in
Thailand and abroad qualify TBSP as the region's leader in bank check
production. TBSP offers a wide range of cheques in the both book and
continuous form. Company, personal, gift, draft, cashier and pictorial
cheques are all produced in fully personalized form with high quality
MICR encoding. Imported (CBS1) security paper is used for all cheques
with the option of watermarks or other security devices included in the
paper. Additional security features such as holograms and special inks
can also be supplied to meet customer requirements.
Security Documents
In the past products such as Postage stamps, Passports, Bonds and
Certificates of Deposit had to be imported. Today these products are
available in Thailand thanks to TBSP's investment in modern machinery
and know how. Customers benefit with lower costs and improved service
while Thailand gains through more jobs and saving of foreign exchange.
Business Forms
TBSP supplies a complete range of business forms in both sheet, book and
continuous form to meet all the requirements of business, industrial and
government sectors. Single and multiple part sets are produced in a
variety of weights and sizes using both bond with one time carbon or
chemically coated NCR papers. Special features such as continuous gold
blocking and holograms are available together with thermal papers and
magnetic stripes.
Plastic Cards
TBSP uses the latest technology in its new purpose built security card
plant. The company's flexible facilities allow the production of a wide
range of cards in both large and small quantities. The main products are
the high quality and technically advanced cards such as Visa, Master and
Smart cards. Apart from production of these cards the company operates a
Bureau Service. This is mainly for the personalization and encoding of
cards in Thai and English with digital color printing of photos for I.D.
cards. Where customers wish to personalize their own cards, equipment is
provided for embossing, tipping, encoding and photo imaging.
