AEI is managed by the Australian Department of Education, Training and Youth Affairs and by offshore offices located in Australian diplomatic missions throughout the world.
Products & Services:
AEI in Thailand:
Manages the education and training relationship between the Thai and Australian Governments;
Provides support to Australian education and training providers operating in Thailand;
Undertakes generic marketing of Australia as a quality study destination;
Undertakes fee for service work for Australian education and training providers seeking opportunities in Thailand; and
Operates the Australian Education Centre.
The Australian Education Centre is a “one stop shop” that provides education and training counseling services to students, their parents, and employees pursuing further study options. The Australian Education Centre has a very wide range of university handbooks, applications, course information, and videos for schools, vocational education and training institutions, English language colleges and universities. The Australian Education Centre also provides free seminars by representatives and academics of Australian education and training providers.
The Australian Government through the Department of Education, Training and Youth Affairs has a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Thai Ministry of University Affairs and a Memorandum of Cooperation (MOC) with the Thai Ministry of Education. As part of these MOU/MOC, joint ventures and cooperative projects are being undertaken in Thailand and Australia including qualifications framework recognition, quality education policy, staff exchanges and industry training development.
