Company Profile: Consortium developing a 1,346.5 MW coal-fired power station in Thailand.

As of July 2001, the project had a delay for four years which put commencing of operations off to 2006. The reason is because the slower growth rate of electricity's demand caused by economic slowdown of the country. In February 2000, Loxley has sold its 30% stake to the other two shareholders of the project, which are Powergen of UK and Banpu, a Thai energy firm. As a result, both companies increased its holding from 35% to 50% each. Powergen sold its share to CLP in 2003.
