Our mission is to service Thai industry with cost effective industrial non hazardous and hazardous waste management, remediation, cleaning, onsite treatment, resource recovery and related services. In April 2001 the shares held by Nature Trans and Song Num were sold to waste management professionals who changed the company registration to foreign owned (US) Thai company.
Our main focus is to provide customers regulatory compliant, cost effective environmental services. This goal is achieved by employing waste recycling, materials reuse and selecting waste disposal which reduces our customers waste management costs and long term environmental liabilities. This goal is achieved by employing cement kiln technology whereby waste is converted into raw materials.
All waste materials collected and transported by BYL from its customers to the disposal facilities are manifested as mandated by the Ministry of Industry and the United States Environmental Protection Agency (USEPA). At the conclusion of the waste disposal process completed documents are returned to the customer, together with detailed waste processing report designed to educate the customer in effort to conserve costs and improve health, safety and environmental related practices.
In past years our principles have serviced clients such as US Armed Forces, JASMAG (US Embassy), Bayer, UNITHAI, and many others. Waste materials collected form these and other customers are sent to cement kilns where they are reused either as alternative fuel or raw materials. This material reuse and recycle method conforms to the Thai Ministry of Industry and USEPA standards and yields lower disposal costs while reducing landfill related risks.
Containers employed by BYL for waste collection services are the same as those ones commonly used by waste management organizations around the world. As such, we can call upon our own transport fleet to transport our customers waste materials ensuring that these services conform to the regulatory requirements and Government mandates.
The use of cement kilns for the destruction of organic waste is well proven and is known internationally as the Best Demonstrated Available Technology (BDAT). Endorsed by USEPA and the EC, this technology often competes with hazardous waste incinerators. Producing no ash and operating at higher temperatures and longer gas residence times (DRE 99.9999%), the use of cement kiln technology is favored internationally over hazardous waste incinerators (DRE 99.99%) due to cement kiln recycling abilities, waste destruction efficiency, lower disposal costs and the fact that the use of this technology yields no residuals.
Incineration of waste materials collected by BYL from our customers is carried out employing cement kiln technology. All of the facilities employed by BYL are licensed by the Ministry of Industry (MOI, Department of Industrial Works (DIW) and are managed by professionals who fully understand combustion technology and Alternative Fuel and Raw (AFR) materials use. All of the cement kilns employed by BYL for its AFR are ISO 9002 and 14001 certified. Furthermore, said facilities have on the premises regulatory licensed laboratories (9002 and Guide 25 certified) to verify incoming waste composition, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and facility operation mandates.
