Porcelain
Bahari creates unexpected, seductive designs in traditional kiln-fired porcelain. Our contemporary porcelain collection includes free-form designs, unique textured styles and, smooth tabletop pieces. Each piece is rendered with a shiny gloss or subtle matte finish. Using techniques that have been employed since porcelain originated in the second century A.D., our artisans craft each piece for beauty and durability.
Rosewood & Amboyna
Skilled artisans handturn these striking pieces from a small reserve of rosewood, legally harvested decades ago. Because it is now illegal to harvest rosewood in most of Asia, these are strictly limited editions. A palm oil finish enchances the unique deep red and brown wood grain of each beautiful piece. Clean with warm water and a mild soap, then immediately dry completely. Regular application of a food-safe oil will help keep these pieces in excellent condition. We recommend butcher block or mineral oil. With proper care Rosewood pieces will last a lifetime.

Teak Wood
Native to Thailand and Indonesia, our teak is plantation grown and harvested at the precise age when the tree yields the highest quality of wood. The wood is then certified by the Department of Forestry, which insures that the product was garnered from a source that utilizes sustainable farming practices. A wavy grain pattern highlighted by occasional dark veins is perhaps the wood's most stunning characteristic. Each teak bowl is hand turned from one piece of wood by our artisans.
Mango Wood
Each of our hand-carved mango wood vases and sculptures offers a sexy alternative in home decor. Mango trees, which grow wild throughout Southeast Asia. Our artisans use this wood as a blank canvas to exhibit their talents through unique, intricate carvings.
Plantation Grown Teak
Our teak wood is plantation grown, certified by the Ministry of Forest. Not only is our teak derived from legitimate sources with certified sustainable forest management practices, but it also comes from areas that abide by human rights ethics and child labor laws. Our teak trees have been harvested at the precise age to yield the highest return and the highest quality, minimizing waste product. Many items are crafted from tree stumps that have been left in the ground and have gone unused by other furniture manufacturers. Their leftovers become your beautiful and functional accent furniture. Small scrap teak wood has been joined together to create larger logs that are then made into furniture, pieces that range from side tables to coffee tables to a large dining tables.
