Established and incorporated for over two decades, the business conglomerate of CAL Intertrade Co., Ltd., and Rice Mills, CAL Industries and Marketing Co., Ltd., and CAL Holistic Co. Ltd. is directly organized by Dr. Chavalit Anavachakarn, MD as President.
CAL Intertrade’s export of Thai Hom Mali rice, a long grain white rice, renown for its distinct characteristic of fragrance, softness and flavour, is milled by CAL Rice Mills. CAL Intertrade exports Thai rice and agricultural products to many countries over the world stretching from Africa, Asia, Australia, Europe, Middle East, New Zealand, North and South America. Our volume of sales reached high levels of export quantities recognized by both the Ministry of Commerce and Ministry of Finance.
CAL Intertrade received a prestigious nomination as a Member of the Selected List of Thai Exporters during 1997 from the Department of Export Promotion, Ministry of Commerce and was also credited in the annual Special Honour List of Top Exporters from the Revenue Division, Ministry of Finance. By the year 2,000, the Royal Customs Department awarded CAL Intertrade Co., Ltd the highly honoured Customs Gold Card Privileges No.035. The contexts of Customs Gold Card required a minimum of three consecutive years of exports using Electronic Data Interchange (EDI).
The 29th International Award For Commercial Prestige was bestowed to CAL Intertrade in 1998 by the selection committee of the International Award for Commercial Prestige in collaboration with the Trade Leaders’ Club and the journal Mercado Mundial (World Market) in Spain. The award distinguishes those companies from all over the world outstanding in the course of past years due to the prestige of their corporate image achieved to the quality of their products and/or services.
The 22nd International Award For Food And Beverages – NEW MILLENNIUM AWARD was presented to CAL Intertrade during 2,000 by the Trade Leaders’ Club in Paris to distinguish the quality of products and services.

King of Rice and Beans
Jasmine rice or Hom Mali is once a year crop and originates from selected fertile rice fields in the North and North East of Thailand. Jasmine rice is well known for its distinctive fragrance, delicious flavour and tenderness. We export a variety of rice with our brands: Sampao, 5 Stars Elephant, Lucky Elephant and more and also with buyers’ option brands.
A wide variety of beans are grown in Thailand. For several hundreds of years, people in Asia have been eating a diet rich in beans known for its low cholesterol and fats. Some take them as health foods.

The functional food supplements are manufactured in ready to eat instant foods under the personal direction of Dr. Chavalit Anavachakarn, a medical doctor turned food specialist.
