SMTEK Thailand was registered in 1996. Since then, we have become one of the leaders in contract electronic manufacturing for printed circuit board assemblies in Thailand, providing high quality products and reliable service. We are situated on a 6508 square meter plot in Bangpa-in Industrial Estate, Ayutthaya, conveniently located half an hour north of Bangkok Airport. Currently we employ 120 people and the turnover for FY2001 was $10million.
SMTEK Thailand offers a full turnkey service and is committed to a win-win relationship with our customers, and one that ensures profitable growth for both our company and our customers.
We are equipped to assemble, test and box electronics assemblies. We specialize in mounting 0402 and 0404 SMDs. We have capacities for 20 million placements per month and are constantly expanding. We will be introducing BGA equipment in the first quarter of 2002.
Throughout the process, we treat PCBAs with the utmost care and machine-depanel all boards. We have in-circuit, telecommunication, RF, and high voltage testers. For final assembly we offer serial number programming and bar code labeling to ANSI standard.
SMTEK Thailand is an export oriented company, promoted by the Thai government, which has several privileges we can pass on to our customers, such as streamlined import-export process and import and export tax exemption. Under these privileges our customers enjoy reduced material cost and fast turnaround time.

IPC A-610 is applied through all production processes, to ensure products and services conform to world class quality standards. The accepted quality standard of excellence, ISO 9002, was obtained in 1998 and our current certificate with Underwriters Laboratories (UL) is valid until May 2003.
