With a great success in running the Thai Food and Chemicals Co.,Ltd. for several years, in 1994 its executives saw that society should receive worthy fruits from the company in return. Previously Thai manufacturers in general were not readily accessible to useful knowledge and information in regards to food chemicals and food ingredients. As being experienced and recognised in these fields, the company foresaw a new company committed to distribution of knowledge related to food areas with extension to chemistry as well as environment. This was believed to be sustainably beneficial to society and that the private sectors could contribute to national development.
To fulfil its determination accordingly, Charpa Techcenter Co.,Ltd has been established since then. Charpa is derived from the first English alphabets of the founders’ first names : Char comes from the name of Dr.. Charanai Panichajakul who was Ms. Phenporn’s academic advisor on doing her Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry. Dr. Charanai Panichajakul has been a permanent consultant for the company from the beginning. P comes from the name of Ms. Phenporn Pongpuncharoen, President of Thai Food and Chemical Co.,Ltd. A comes from the name of Mr. Adisak Intapichet , Managing Director of Thai Food and Chemical Co.,Ltd.
TECHCENTER implies another commitment that the company mediates between experts and their interested parties in the fields of food technology, chemistry and environment.

Offering services in applying for food registration and food importation licensing to the Food and Drugs Administration

Providing technical training for college students in food area
In order to sustain its published magazines as well as organising the seminars and workshops at inexpensive rates, the company needs financial support for maintaining all current activities.
