The first company of Polyfoam group was established on August
6,1965 by Mr. Pradit and Mrs. Voraphan Hiranpradit. Polyfoam is pioneer of Expandable
Polystyrene (EPS) Foam industry in Thailand. |

Since the outstanding aspects of EPS is low thermal conductivity,
EPS sheet is one of the best and economical insulation material. In the
beginning, we produced EPS blocks and sheets mainly supplied for cold storage
construction. High compressive strength and excellent shock absorption made EPS
proper material for packaging. EPS shape molding as packaging for various kinds
of valuable products especially electronic and electrical appliances is also
common in nowadays.
POLYFOAM has continually expanded its business according to the country’s
economic growth. The group of Polyfoam nowadays comprises of five companies with
4 factories and 1 retail office.
- The first factory of Polyfoam Industries Co., Ltd. located at Petchkasem Rd.
- Polyfoam Kanayama Appliances Ltd. is the joint venture with Kanayama Kasei
Co.,Ltd. of Japan Established in December 1988 at Bangna – Trad Km. 35
- Polyfoam High-Tech Co.,Ltd. at Navanakorn Ind. Est. was founded in February
1989 with the most advanced molding machines from Austria with “Transfer Molding
Technique”. Transfer Molding needless to use cooling water, so the cycle time is
short and product is totally dry.
- Sripraya (New Road) retail office used to be head office until we move all
officers to Takarm (Rama II Road) factory in order to increase working
efficiency.
- Takarm factory, the Headquarters of Polyfoam group was founded in 1991.
