There are an awful lot of Bars in Bangkok. Or is there? For the average tourist visiting Bangkok or for the average expat for that matter who lives and works in the farang ghettos of Sukhumvit and Silom there seems to be a never ending stream of bars, gogo bars, pubs and clubs. But isn't this the same in every cosmopolitan city around the world? Or is Bangkok different, special, when it comes down to the ability to pour alcoholic beverages down the neck.

There are probably just as many websites as there are bars in Bangkok that can be consulted if you want to know more about the nightlife in Bangkok.
