Thailand's official importer for Porsche cars
With the belief that no one would buy or own upper bracket luxury car if
without the
availability of quality service facilities along with the
far-sightedness that high import
tariff for high luxury vehicles would be brought down in a foreseeable
future with
subsequent prospects in the vehicle sales of this segment.
AAS Auto Service Co., Ltd. (AAS) was therefore established on 14 October
1986 as a
long-term investment in providing "premium quality services" with the
ultimate goal
of providing "professional sales services" for high luxury motor cars
through the
philosophy that AAS will never sacrifice its long-term goals for
short-term gains.
In view of the above, quality service foundation was laid down from day
one of its
establishment through professional service training given to staff
members along with
the employment of state-of-the-art technology service equipment
including the imported
paint booth - the first ever utilized booth in Thailand. This therefore
resulted in the
quality of service by AAS being second to none in the industry.
Through the sound financial status coupled with the quality service, AAS
won the
appointment from Porsche AG of Germany on 01 February 1989 as its
exclusive dealer
for the sales and service of Porsche cars and parts in Thailand even
though selling of
Porsche cars was not foreseeable, on account of high import tariff,
until mid-1991 when
automobile industry was liberalized through drastic reduction in import
duties.
The proven records by AAS, in maintaining with continued improvement in
superior
service quality along with good sales performance, resulted in AAS being
upgraded
by Porsche AG from the status of dealership to that of importership as
from 12 July 1994.
In order to continue striving for the better at all times to facilitate
convenience and
generate better confidence to Porsche car owners and prospects which
result in the
current achievement of 90% retention of Porsche population, AAS has done
a number
of "first" such as follows:
- First to use imported paint booth in 1986.
- First to open showroom 7 days a week in 1992.
- First in South East Asia to utilize water-based paint system since 01
March 1997.
- First in the industry to be accredited with ISO 9002 in the field of
vehicle sales
and service on 11 November 1999.
Again, as commitment to Porsche franchise, Porsche car owners and
prospects, AAS
has on 22 July 2001 launched its "world-class", as endorsed by Porsche
AG,
"PORSCHE CENTER BANGKOK" - - - the latest multi-million Baht Showroom
and Service
Center fully equipped with latest technology equipment and facilities. |
