H.Q. Group Co.,Ltd is a Thai paper manufacturer
and exporter offering greeting cards, mulberry paper and recycled
handmade paper, decorative milled paper, stationery, wrapping and artist
papers.
HQ PaperMaker is a leading specialist paper producer based in northern
Thailand. We employ age-old traditional techniques for handmade
production and the most advanced machinery for fully automated milled
papers. Our production capabilities are therefore very versatile and we
are able to cater for practically any speciality paper needs that you
have. Our approach to paper production is constant innovation.
Most important, we are sensitive to environmental concerns and take care
to manage production in a way that minimises negative impact on the
environment. For example our mulberry paper is made from the branches of
the trees which grow again very rapidly. We do not cut trees down to
make any of our paper. We have also developed ranges of recycled and
non-wood based papers from abundant local organic materials.
We believe in the highest standard of customer service which is why we
created this website in September 1999 - one of the very first
e-commerce websites in Thailand. Here, we provide all of the information

In May 2005 we completely reworked the site to incorporate the very

HQ PaperMaker combines the resources of two established paper producers
- HQ Group and Siam Northern Paper - as one point of contact to provide
a wide product range and full service. We have 15 years of experience in
creating and selling specialty paper and so you can trust us to know
exactly how to cater for your needs.
HQ Group was established in England in 1990 as the first importer and
distributor of handmade mulberry paper and products from Thailand. After
four years of valuable experience in import and distribution, in 1994 HQ
Group Co., Ltd. was registered in Thailand to further develop handmade
paper production facilities. HQ Group owns a model handmade paper
factory employing highly skilled craftspeople who use traditional tools
and production methods for papermaking, combined with pioneering
all-weather drying techniques and pollution free recycled waste water
disposal
systems.
Siam Northern Paper Co., Ltd. (SNP) is a large paper mill that was
established in Thailand in 1995. The factory boasts a classic
Fourdrinier mill with a capacity of 24 meters per minute. At the end of
1998 SNP introduced highly innovative production techniques and started
working together with HQ Group to develop new ranges of specialty
papers.
