is a global multinational company founded in the Netherlands in 1979.
The company is committed to the development, production, marketing and
distribution of components for the commercial vehicle industry. All Hyva
components are made to meet global market demands in terms of quality,
price, availability and after sales service. The company is
headquartered in the Netherlands in Alphen aan den Rijn and has well
equipped manufacturing facilities in Brazil, China, Germany, India,
Italy and the Netherlands.
As a supplier Hyva is offering a wide range of technical products and
components, mainly used in connection with hydraulic loading and
unloading systems on trucks and trailers for the road transportation
industry in on and off road applications. Hyva is also an important
player in the manufacturing and supply of compactors and waste
collecting units for the environmental services industry.
Hyva is marketing and distributing components that are developed and
produced by manufacturing facilities across the world. The products
include:
Telescopic front cylinders for trucks and trailers for tipping
applications;
A wide range of under body three way cylinders;
Fixed mounted and rolling truck cranes;
Container lifting systems such as hook loaders and skip loaders;
Mobile and static compactors and other garbage collecting units.
Hyva is also distributing many components that are sourced from third
parties and sold under private Hyva-label or under the brand name of the
manufacturer.
Hyva continuing its expansion has established during 1991 a new business
line for the development, production, marketing and distribution of
mobile (roller) cranes (Kennis) and horizontally moving floors for
loading and unloading applications of trucks and trailers (Hydraulic
Floor Systems).
Technamics B.V. was acquired in 1998 by Hyva.This company is specialised
in the development, production and marketing of hook lifts and skip
loaders, generally known as container handling systems under the brand
name Hyvalift. These systems are developed for the loading and off
loading of containers on trucks. Container handling systems fits
naturally in Hyva’s product range and has a growing global potential.
In 2001 Hyva acquired the hydraulic division of Georg Group in Germany,
a leading supplier of high pressure cylinders with its factory in
Olbersdorf, close to the borders with Poland and Czech Republic in the
heart of Central Europe. This acquisition has completed Hyva’s range of
hydraulic cylinders and has enabled the company to become a leading
supplier of under body cylinders for three-way tipping applications.
Expansion has continued with the establishment of Hyva in Maroc
(Casablanca) and Czech (Prague) in 2003.
In 2004 Hyva opened its latest manufacturing plant in China in the city
of Yangzhou that primarily serves the huge and growing demand of the
domestic market. Later in 2004 Hyva Baltic started operations close to
Riga, serving Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania.
In 2005 Hyva has started operations in the USA (Hyva Corporation) and
has successfully entered this market with hydraulic telescopic
cylinders. Compared to local competitors Hyva is offering substantial
weight savings and higher performances to the market.
Mid 2006 Hyva acquired its sole distributor Hyvalift in Ireland. By
November 2006 Hyva opened its latest state of the art facility in Mumbai
(India) for production, research and development of its range of
products. By December 2006 Hyva Group acquired the 100% share capital of
the AmcoVeba/Ferrari Group in Poviglio, Italy. This company is
specialized in the production of fixed mounted truck cranes and has
become a fast growing and important player in the industry in recent
years with a full range of high quality models that are all able to
fulfil global needs.
Beginning of 2007Altatec Group of Companies in Australia was acquired
and is continuing business activities under the name of Hyva Altatec.
Our recent acquisitions support our strategy for enhanced product and
market diversification. During 2007 Hyva Group expects its sales to
exceed € 360 million across 28 Hyva subsidiaries in 20 different
countries and exports to over hundred other countries with a global
customer base of more than 25.000 active customers.
Additionally Hyva controls an international and global and sales and
after-sales-service network. The group has a total workforce of around
1500 employees.
