The Asean Focus Group:
1. advises a number of major companies operating or seeking to operate in the region across a broad range of activities including manufacturing, food processing, construction, finance, transportation and distribution, law and accounting;
2. acts as a project developer in the region and is currently involved in projects covering major areas of infrastructure development such as power, water and ports as well as other important sectors such as health and education;
3. invests in selected greenfield and existing joint ventures throughout the Asian region;
4. assists small and medium sized companies to establish a commercial presence in the region, often through government funded export market planning or business network programs.
Asean Focus Group is a well established player in the markets of South East Asia. Our executives have spent most of their professional careers involved with the region, recognising many years ago the importance and potential of this area of the world.
Asean Focus Group is targeted at the business opportunities which lie in the ten member countries of the Association of South East Asian Nations -- ASEAN -- namely: Brunei Darussalam, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam. Also of increasing importance is our work elsewhere in Asia such as China and India. The Group’s long term commitment to the region is manifest in its desire to act as an investor in appropriate growth businesses in South East Asia and Australia. Our focused commitment to our clients is established at the outset of the development of any business relationship as we only work with one company in any particular business sector.
