Japanese as well as Thai.
Euro-Center (Thailand) Co. Ltd opened its doors 10th October 1989 . Europeiske
Rejseforsikring in Denmark was the main investor at the time and the first
travel insurance company to see the need for on the spot service in Thailand for
the increasing number of tourist . Today we have 6 owners, namely European
travel Insurance companies form the Nordic countries, Holland and Germany.
The late Dr. Ejnar Ammundsen was guest speaker at our opening ceremony. Mor Am,
as he was affectionately called, informed in brilliant style, the invited guests
from the travel trade in Scandinavia about the health system in Thailand.
The main business purpose of the Euro-Center is to give on the spot active
assistance to tourists. We reimburse medical bills and settle luggage cases.
Young people who travel in Asia make good use of our office. Today they either
walk in to our office in person or contact us via e-mail fax or phone. In
medical cases we are the extended arm of Euro-Alarm in Copenhagen, which is a 24
hour alarm centre with a team of doctors on call . We have established network
in Southeast Asia. |
