Buttocks Lift removes loose, sagging skin
from the buttocks. A butt lift is traditionally done through the
removal of excess skin and fat around the buttocks. A less invasive process
is called the suture or thread lift technique.
The threaded butt lift is
similar to thread lift for faces. The buttocks thread lift involves the
insertion of threads (known as sutures) which contain a series of cogs or
micro-barbs. These micro-barbs work by catching the underlying tissues of
the skin and allow the skin to be tightened.
Buttock liposuction is often performed in conjunction with a buttocks
lift or with thigh liposuction. Liposuction is the most commonly performed
plastic surgery in the World. This technique is used to reshape the body by
permanently removing localized fat deposits. Generally, the suctioning is
performed in the low back above the buttocks, the back of the thigh just
below the buttock fold or on the hip at the side of the buttock. The goal is
to create a natural rounded curve to the buttock that recalls the look of
the slim, well-proportioned athletic body. |
