Ocean 1 Tower Will it or won't it get built. Lot's more
to be said about this monolith project. I saw the pictures. I
heard the hype. I have many concerns and the greatest of all is
the developers of this project View Talay who's track record in
throwing up cheap ugly soviet style condominiums, obtaining
dubious building permits and generally a "sod you I want to make
money" approach does not endear me to them.
An 87 storey monolith could become
an 87 storey memorial for this company.
Every
project has it's plus points and it's negative points. I hope that the

save you time when you physically get around to visiting and making your
choice for your dream home by the beach.
The Pros
- A prestige project for Pattaya,
Jomtien and Thailand and for the owners who will pay a premium price
to be able to say "I live in the tallest building in Thailand" Gee
more money than sense I say but money attracts money so spend it and
you will receive - maybe.
The Cons
- Extremely expensive, unnecessary
project. Jomtien is not Manhattan, not KL or Taipai. There is a
lot of available land around.
