The Jordanian Performing Arts Center
The Performing Arts Center (PAC) was established in 1987 to develop an
appreciation of the value of the arts in the educational process and to
enhance the theater and dance movements in Jordan.
PAC programs offer children, youth, men and women the opportunity to develop
their talents in the performing arts, to explore issues related to a better
quality of life, and to express their needs and aspirations freely and
creatively.
The Center, considered a unique institution in Jordan and the region,
introduces innovative drama, puppet shows and dance. PAC uses artistic
expression as an effective medium in education and the dissemination of
development messages for all ages. Its programs and activities have received
valuable support from local, regional, and international organizations

Theater Arts School
The Theater Arts School was founded in 1997 in cooperation with
the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, in
Washington, D.C. It offers professional training for children
and youth in acting, directing, role-playing, creative writing,
mime, puppetry, conflict resolution, and decision-making skills.
Dance School
The Dance School, established in 1997, offers professional
training in ballet, modern dance, and traditional folk dance.
Its performances are highly acclaimed and their ballet-training
program is accredited by the Royal Academy of Dance in Britain.
